Please find below some pcitures of the annual commemoration for the liberation of Klerken in the Great War. The event took place on Saturday, May, 4th, 2013.

Burgemeester Vansteenkiste legde bloemen neer aan het monument ter nagedachtenis van de oorlogsslachtoffers van Klerken.

Daarna ging het in stoet naar het Willy Coppensplein voor een hulde aan de befaamde piloot uit de Eerste Wereldoorlog.
