Franse vrachtauto uit WO1 te gast - Nieuwpoort - 23/10/2011
Een Franse vrachtauto uit WO1 kwam naar Nieuwpoort op zondag 23 oktober 2011 om 11 u op het marktplein. Het was een authentieke vrachtauto van het Franse leger anno 1914. Dat zorgde voor spectaculaire foto's want het is een groot gedrocht van ruim 6 meter lang en 3 hoog. Die vertrok op maandag voor een tocht langs de frontlijn vanaf Nieuwpoort-Bad tot aan de Zwitserse grens. De vrachtwagen kwam al voor in de film 'Un long dimanche de fiançailles'.
