When this bloody war is over - Wijtschate - 23/09/2017
23/09/2017 - Wijtschate
Please find below some photos of the concert 'When this bloody war is over' which took place on Saturday, 23 September 2017, in the church of Wijtschate. The concert told the history of village Wijtschate and the region around during the Great War. Projections of old photos, movies of the landscape and images of the concert were shown on the big screen. The music was performed by The Swigshift in collaboration with Westhoek Consort and the choir Hoogland of Wijtschate. A few pipers of the Ypres Surrey Pipes and Drums also participated in the concert.
